The Ministry of Environment (MoE) respects your privacy as a user of websites located within the Internet domains “mos.gov.pl, ekoportal.gov.pl, ekoportal.pl, cop19.gov.pl, cop24.gov.pl”, hereinafter referred to as the website. We want everyone who visits the website to know exactly how to protect their privacy. That is why we encourage you to read our website's Privacy Policy.

  1. By using the website, you accept the provisions of this Privacy Policy.
  2. Personal data may be collected by the following means:
    • information provided in forms published on the website,
    • information collected automatically during the use of the website, including:

      – information stored automatically in server and website logs, such as IP address, page request sent by the user, date and time of request, browser type, browser language, device data, operating system;

      – cookies – small text files sent by the website to the device of the user visiting the service (such as a computer or smartphone).

  3. The information collected automatically serves the following purposes:
    • server and website administration;
    • ensuring security, as well as protecting data and website;
    • ensuring that you are provided with certain services;
    • statistical purposes;

  9. The MoE makes every effort to protect your data in connection with your use of the website. However, we are not responsible for the privacy policies of third parties, whose services are used by the MoE or websites to which it provides links. Therefore, we encourage you to familiarise yourself with the policies of these entities.

Being aware of your responsibility to protect the personal data entrusted to us by you, the Ministry of Environment treats the security issues with the utmost care and makes every effort to protect the website along with the data processed on it, among others against unauthorised access by third parties. For this purpose, the Ministry uses physical security measures, security systems protecting access to servers and the website, as well as cryptographic solutions. Personal data is made available only to those employees and entities on a need to know basis and is processed only for the purposes described in this Privacy Policy.

When processing your data, the MoE complies with the provisions of laws regarding the protection of personal data, including Regulation (EU) 2016/679 of the European Parliament and of the Council of 27 April 2016 on the protection of individuals with regard to the processing of personal data and on the free movement of such data and repealing Directive 95/46/EC (the so-called GDPR).
  12. Personal data collected automatically, referred to in paragraph 2, is processed in connection with the performance of tasks performed in the public interest or in the exercise of public authority (including in connection with the requirements specified in the Act of 17 February 2005 on computerisation of the activities of entities performing public tasks and in the Regulation of the Council of Ministers of 12 April 2012 on the National Interoperability Framework, minimum requirements for public registers and exchange of information in electronic form, and minimum requirements for information and communication systems).
  13. Personal data will be processed for the period necessary for the performance of a given task.
  14. Personal data is transferred to data processors processing data on behalf of the personal data controller in connection with the provision of services to the Ministry of Environment.
  15. Personal data may be transferred to public bodies and state authorities, as well as other entities authorised by law or performing tasks performed in the public interest or in the exercise of public authority.
  16. You have the right to request the personal data controller to:
    • provide you access to your personal data;
    • rectify your personal data;
    • limit the extent of processing of your personal data;
    • transfer your personal data to another personal data controller;
    • object to handling of your personal data.
  17. A request to exercise the aforementioned rights should be sent in writing to the personal data controller (with the note "Personal data protection").
  18. You have the right to lodge a complaint with a supervisory authority, i.e. the President of the Office for the Protection of Personal Data.
